Lisa Blanch is a Certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT), Registered Yoga Therapist and Senior Teacher (Yoga Australia), Yoga for Cancer specialist teacher, Yoga for Pain Care Practitioner and Somatic Movement Exercise Coach who has offered therapeutic yoga across Sydney, Australia, since 2005.
Focusing on evidence-based practices, Lisa currently offers private client consultations, group therapeutic sessions for people living with and after cancer, plus specialist mental health and well being programs designed to build and maintain good mental health.
Offering simple practices that can be done by anyone and any BODY to help manage stress and maintain good mental and physical health is at the core of YogaCPR programs.
Lisa has over 1500 hours of yoga and yoga therapy training, including Diploma of Yoga (IYTA) and Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy (AIYT) plus extensive studies and workshops with Yogacharya Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Simon Borg-Olivier, Donna Farhi, Tanya Fitzpatrick, Jean DiCarlo-Wagner, Sal Flynn, Leigh Blashki, Annette Loudon, Leslie Kaminoff, Tari Prinster, Dr Amy Wheeler, Dr Timothy McCall and Dr Shirley Telles.
She has been a speaker at the annual Yoga Therapy Conference in 2015, the Yoga Australia National Retreat in March, 2017, and Ilawarra International Yoga Day in 2019, and is an established teacher trainer, having led the Asana module for the IYTA Diploma of Yoga for the 2013-2017 courses.
In 2018, Lisa joined the Advisory Board for Yoga for Pain Care Australia,
and currently contributes to the multi-disciplinary team for Supportive Care and Integrative Medicine, at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
